This happened couple of years ago, and I was witness to the whole thing.

It was a worm summer day, I was riding a bus to get to where I was going.  Bus had just stopped at another stop, when a young lady ran inside the bus and started looking for something looking very concern.  She was checking under seats and everywhere she could reach.  The bus was half empty, and some of the passengers started asking her what was she looking for.

Young lady with tears in her eyes had replied that she was just on this bus, and she had a pool cue with her that she was picking up from repair shop for her brother and she just left it on the bus.  Right as she finishes explaining to everyone the reason for her frantic search, bus driver closes the doors and the bus starts to move.  Realizing this, girl runs to the doors and starts screaming to the driver to open the doors and let her out.  The passengers around her were telling her to wait, as the next stop is right around the corner and that she should not worry so much.  To which the girl replied - " I also bought a set of pool balls for my brother for his birthday, I left them at the stop".
